Online games?

if i play games online is it count as download or upload? if it yes, is it big or not? ( I live in a dormitory, so my download and upload is very limited)

Online games?
It counts as both. You need to download and upload data to do just about anything on the internet, just in different amounts.

You tend to download more than you upload, and how much you do of both depends on the game and how long you play. Games like Counter-Strike will use more bandwdith, or download and upload more, than simple games like Yahoo! Games.

I use a small, free program called NetMeter to keep track of how much I've downloaded and uploaded. This will let you know how much you've used on a day, in a week, and in a month. It also shows how much bandwidth you're using at any given time. It's a very small download, shows up in the system tray in the lower right corner, and clicking it brings up a small window with this information. I suggest you download it, or some other download/upload meter, so you can keep track of how much you use.
Reply:It counts as both. As for how much, well, it depends on many factors. The big things are patches, and I ve seen games get patches as big as 500 megs. If you can deal with 500 megs every few months, there is no reason for you not to be able to play the game. The actual game information can probably be discussed in terms of 1-10 megs an hour, not much more.

EDIT:

Whil it is true that download and upload usually are about specific file, his download and upload limits are based on traffic. And online games have uploads and downloads through their traffic. It usually is simple location and variable information.
Reply:No. And just to clear everything up. Download is when you take something online and put it onto your computer forever. (until you take it off.) Upload is when you take something from your computer and put in online.

So no it is not a download or an upload
